CIFA (Curaçao International Financial Services
Association) is the representative association
of the international financial sector of Curaçao.
A personal project from the key developers of the Pietermaai District in Curacao. I was given the chance to contribute and be part of creating this beautiful book. The rich History of the Curacao Neighborhood "Pietermaai" has been documented in a monumental book of 225 pages. 300 years of story traveling through time with visual text and striking images. The rise and fall, the tranformation from ghost town to current lively modern neighborhood and city center.
My attribution was making portraits of previous home owners and people who lived in the Pietermaai District in the past. A couple of them are still living there today. I had a wonderful time meeting and talking to the people who were interviewed by Eva. The interviews and stories are part of the book.

Due to the growth of social media, our online appearance can be just as important, or even more important than our in-person image due to how many people view online profiles including decision makers. Your profile picture should reflect your attention to detail and professionalism.
For a private foundation who takes care of terminal patients, we developed a rather shocking set of images showing how some people spend their last day of their lives. This in order to make an ambassadors package to raise funds for the foundation so they can take care of the people most in need and give them a truly warm and worthy final days of their lives.
Design buildings is a very complex and demanding undertaking, no matter what the scale of the project might be. A strong degree of foresight is a prerequisite. Any design concept must at a very early stage in its generation take into account a great number of issues and variables, which include qualities of space(s), the end-use and life-cycle of these proposed spaces, connections, relations and aspects between spaces including how they are put together as well as the impact of proposals, as well as the culture and history of the place will also influence the design.
Interior design is the art and science of enhancing the interiors, sometimes including the exterior, of a space or building, to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the end user.
